We are delighted to invite you to the Fetal and Neonatal Physiological Society Congress (FNPS) 2026, taking place from 27–30 September 2026 in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
FNPS 2026 will bring together clinicians, researchers, and early-career investigators from around the world to explore the latest advances in fetal and neonatal physiology. The meeting provides a forum for the exchange of cutting-edge scientific developments with clear relevance to perinatal and neonatal clinical practice.
Our programme highlights key developments in brain development and neuroprotection, cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, renal development, early‑life metabolic programming and obesity, and emerging therapeutic and data‑driven innovations — including artificial intelligence.
We warmly invite you to contribute to the scientific programme by submitting your latest research.

Scientific programme
Expect a dynamic programme featuring invited lectures, oral sessions, flash presentations, and the Dawes Lecture. There will also be opportunities to connect informally during social and sporting events in the heart of Utrecht.

Venue
The congress will take place at Leeuwenbergh, a beautifully restored historic monument in the centre of Utrecht. Utrecht is easily accessible from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, with direct trains to Utrecht Central Station in around 30 minutes.
